The documentation of German TV "WDR" with the title

shows clearly that the region of the Kolla in
Argentina in Jujuy Province is in high danger
because the salt lakes of the Kolla region are
victims of lithium mining for car batteries of
electric cars. The price of lithium has already
increased sevenfold thanks to Tesla's e-cars. The
water under the salt crusts is pumped off,
evaporates on large surfaces and by means of
chemical substances (lime, caustic soda, potash) the
lithium is separated from the remaining mass. There
are dramatic consequences for the population of the
region:
1) The rare groundwater of the high Andean region
(4000m) is "diverted" to replenish the salt lakes so
the groundwater level is sinking dramaticly and the
springs on the surface dry up.
2) The chemical substances (lime, caustic soda,
potash) are blown by the wind and are poisoning with
their combination effect the air, so that the lamas
of the farmers often go blind.
NO INSPECTION: Without water and with poison air,
the existence of the Kolla is totally destroyed. The
e-car builders do not (yet) know anything about this
because the corporations are relinquishing all
responsibility to their suppliers, without
controlling the situation with the Kolla at all.
CORRUPTION: In addition, the regional government of
Jujuy in Argentina is involved in mining companies
(these are the companies: "Sales de Jujuy" or
"Minera Exar"), so the government is promoting
lithium mining and awards lithium-mining licenses
WITHOUT asking the population. This violates all
human rights and lawsuits in Buenos Aires have
already stopped test drilling "provisionally". There
are constantly demonstrations and roads are blocked.
EVERYTHING WILL BE DESERTED: Not only that: If the
industry and the government of Argentina continue
like this, the groundwater in the high Andean region
will completely disappear and the salt lakes will
soon no longer be replenished elsewhere. Then will
not only be a desert, but then all industries have
to let be lithium batteries for ever because no
lithium can be mined any more. What will be so?
Fuel cell, compressed air or water motor instead of E-car
The problem can be easily solved NOT building e-cars any more (which are not safe anyway), but fuel cell cars can be (Wik.link Engl.), or cars with compressed air (Wik.link Engl.), or also cars with simple water motor. Tesla boss Musk has to change to produce environmentally friendly and safe fuel cell cars, or compressed air cars, or water cars, as also BMW, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes, etc. According to recent reports, China has already planned to switch to the fuel cell (News from the Austrian Crown Newspaper "Kronenzeitung" of June 8, 2019: Finish with subsidies: e-cars in China are braked now - new credo: hydrogen - https://www.krone.at/1937484).

lakes are destroyed. If the salt lakes are

and in China, so all this madness of e-cars is
connected with batteries that need lithium, even in

and Porsche think that by 2025, dozens of E models

German e-cars are currently running with batteries

produce comes from coal-fired power plants, and
that's officially bad for the climate (28'1 ''). The
production of a car battery is extremely
energy-intensive (28'7 ''). There is a calculation
from the Swedish IVL Institute [Swedish
Environmental Institute Link
Engl.]: for one kW of power of an e-car
battery the production needs 150-200kg CO2 released
(28'18 ''). 100 kilowatts of energy equals 17 tons
of CO2 (28'30 ''). A mid-range car has already
driven 100,000 km for the same CO2 emissions (28'39
''). The expert from the regime Mr. Henning
Kagermann simply indicates: With environmentally
friendly electricity, the battery will be
environmentally friendly again (29'0 '').
Production of a gasoline-diesel car is only half
as burdensome as the production of an electric car
- China destroys itself for" rare earths"
The Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and
Energy has come up with all the environmental
burdens for an e-car battery: there is not only the
destruction of the landscape in Argentina, but for
"rare earths" China is also destroying entire
regions (29'30 ' '). Chemicals and radioactive

Aachen (Germany): e-small car eGo
There is a little E-car produced with a range of
104km upwards with small e-car batteries from 14.9
kW (32'27 ''). With 25.000km the footprint of the
petrol-diesel car is reached and then the car is
"better" than the normal combustion motor car. On
average, the range per day per person is only 39km
anyway (32'53''). But even the eGo is produced with
dirty metals (33'26 '').
Antwerp (Belgium): First battery recycling in Antwerp
In the town of Antwerp [in Belgium] there is a recycling company Umicore recycling "functional metals" from batteries, recovered cobalt, nickel, copper and lithium from batteries, so: with cobalt, nickel and copper at a recycling rate of 95%, with virtually no losses (33'52 "), for lithium with a recycling rate of over 50% (33'55 ''), but this can still increase (33'59 ''). The recycling process for lithium was only recently invented (34'15 '').
The sleeping EU does not know what a lithium
battery is and there is no obligation of recycling

The EU has an outdated battery and recycling
standard from 2006, lithium is not listed (34'56
