February 9, 2014: GO WON WITH ENERGY TURNAROUND! - the arguments for solar energy, wind energy, wave energy, tide energy and streaming energy

Appeal!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

as a historian and analyst with logic analytic work since 1992 I suggest urgently

to PERFORM the energy turnaround: Do everything converting energy systems in a way so
-- solar energy
-- wind energy
-- wave energy
-- tide energy, and
-- streaming energy

will be the cheapest kinds of energies!

Renewable energies with sun, waves, tides,
and streams with a genius stream buoy
Renewable energies: sun, wind, waves, tides and streaming energy with the stream buoy

Wind farms with propeller asparagus are INACCEPTABE because of mass murder of birds, bats and insects.

E-cars are INACCEPTABLE because of their big car batteries and the totally harmful mining of rare earths for them.

Stirling motors are working with hot air [web21]. "Dish Stirling Systems" have a performance [depending on direct sunlight] between 5 and 50 kW per day (indication of 2003). Several systems can be connected as a farm. The bigger the mirror the more performance is produced also with only little solar radiation. During much sun radiation the excessive energy is absorbed by a blowing machine [web20].

In 100 days 500 to 5,000 kW, in 300 days 1,500 to 15,000 kW, in 350 days 1,750 to 17,500 kW=
1.75 to 17.5MW per year

On the real photo the engine for tracing is on the ground, but in the scheme is on the bowl. The construction on the real photo seems to be essentially more stable, also in the case of a storm etc.

Also in southern Europe or in central "America" there would be many places to apply this simple method of solar cooking!

Actually (2014) there is a test run in Chur in Switzerland on the territory of "Josias Gasser Construction Parts Corp." ("Josias Gasser Baumaterialien AG") [web28] Bahnmüller and Richter have an own company Agile Wind Power AG" for their "Agile Wind Tower". The generator is on the floor and it's no difficulty to revise it as with wind turbines in big heights. Additionally a tank with compressed air should store the energy which can be sold during peak times. The rotor blades are movable and are in a maximum position to the wind and in a minimal position against the wind. This is an own patent of the constructors. May be usage will be a problem [web27]. But as the generator of the wind tower is having more resistance than the generators of windmills the wind tower is turning much slower. Add to this a wind tower has only less than the half of the parts than a wind mill, and the parts are lighter and more little than the ones of a wind mill. Thus also helicopter transports to remote areas are possible with not high costs [web28]. In 2014 a prototype with 0.5 MW performance per year will be tested [web29].

Windrail from Switzerland

One more variation for big houses with several floors is the Windrail system ("Wind Rail") profiting 1: of differences of air pressure, 2: winds, and 3: solar cells at the same time. There are rotors inside transforming the constant air stream into power.

<Windrail can cover 70% of the need of power
Power is produced with this little power plant by wind which is climbing the storefront because there are air pressure differences. And there are solar cells on the casing. Depending from the house Windrail systems can cover up to 70 percent of the need of power of the building. Examples for wave energy: there are hundreds of possibilities!

Wave energy power plant with an air chamber in Limpet on Islay Island (South of Scotland)

In general it's estimated that alone with world wide wave energy about 40% of world wide power need could be covered (see the Video Limpet Wellenkraftwerk, 20-28 sec.), and this corresponds to the power of about 700 to 800 nuclear power plants (ibidem, 32sec.). A subsidiary company of Voith Siemens Hydro, "Wavegen", developed and is managing the chamber wave power plant in Limpet on Islay Island in South of Scotland. The output of this plant is 500 kW per year [web05].

The working principle of this little wave power plant is the water column in the chamber. This water columns is steadily moving up and down ("oscillating water column", "swinging water column"). Thus there is always an air stream pushed and torn by the engine ("compression" and "decompression"). This engine is working with both streaming sides without changing it's turning direction (Wells engine, invention of Mr. Allan Wells at the end of the 1980s [web04]) (see the video "Limpet Wellenkraftwerk, 1min.20-32sec.). The effect of power production is working with already relatively little waves (1min. 33-52sec.).

The air chamber is also called a funnel: <With this technique the water surface is pushed into a funnel covered by a roof. Within the funnel the water column is oscillating and is compressing and decompressing the air between the water surface and the "funnel roof". Thus there is air pressure and air pull changing without end in this chamber which is passed through the Wells engine being connected with a generator converting the energy into electric energy feeding the grid.> [web05]

With waves of only 50 cm power producing is beginning: <The advantage of Wave Star power plant is that the elements can work also with little waves of only 50 cm producing power already.> and there is produced a pressure of "up to 200 bar" [web01]. During storms and calm weather the floats are saved upside [web03].

This is a prototype in a scale 1 to 2 [web01]. The floats have a diameter of 5 meters. The location is 300 meters off Hanstholm in the North Sea at a water depth of 7 meters and produces electricity to the grid.> [web02]

Swimming wave power plant "Dexa Wave" (Holstebro, North of Denmark)

Dexa Wave is a little "ship" with a joint in the middle and with al little transformer station on it. This little ship is adapting to the waves and in the joint energy is produced. Dexa Wave comes from Holstebro in Denmark (DEXAWAVE A/S - Enghaven 49 - DK-7500 Holstebro - +45 8651 8690 - E-Mail: info@dexawave.com - http://www.dexawave.com) [web16].

Moving the joint in the middle there is power produced during 24 hours during day and night. In the sea before Malta Island a first model is working professionally [web16] near Marsascala [web17]. The conditions of Malta are a constant wave stream and deep sea floor thus wind parks are impossible [web18].

Power buoys: PowerBuoy wave power plants

Power buoys are producing power by their construction with a hydraulic joint in the middle. With a wave the buoy is extending and with a wave valley the boy is contracting. This hydraulic machinery in the buoy is producing power which is transformed in a little generator in the buoy and power is transferred to the coast with a cable. Main producer for these PowerBuoys is OPT (Ocean Power Technologies):

Power buoy on the first photo is relatively little with a height of 5.6 to 9 meters, with a height over the water level of 1.7 meters, with it's part under the water level (draft) of 7.4 meters, with a medium difference of wave of 1.5 meters, and with a weight of 2,140 kg [web06].

<Dimensions:

Overall Height (stowed): 18.5 feet (5.6m)
Height Above Waterline: 5.4 feet (1.7m)
Draft: 24.1 feet (7.4m)
Average Float Diameter: 5.0 feet (1.5m)
Weight (no payload): 4,720 lbs (2,140kg)>

Power buoy is not only producing energy but can also be supplied with some transmitters and sensors being like a research station: light buoys warning from the coast line, off shore fish farms, sonar systems, radar systems, sea ground sensors. More combinations are possible with drilling platforms or deposits on the open sea [web06].

• Sonar/Radar Systems
• Geophysical Sea Bed Sensing
• Offshore oil and gas platforms>

and so on.

There is also the possibility of tide power parks. Depending on the deepness of the waters there can be visible poles or not. This installation is much cheaper than to build a dam with tunnels, but the submarine attention will be a little bit more expensive..

Simple streaming power plants

Streaming power plants can work with very simple engines when the streaming is more or less the same. There are water mills, weirs, reservoirs, river power plants and little streaming power plants.

This stream buoy is interesting for all locations where a river is at least 2 or 3 meters deep and where is a middle or strong stream.

There are different models.
Stream buoy in a river
Stream buoy in a river [68]

Stream buoy is a relatively new invention of 2006 and comes from lower Austria from the company "Aqua Libre Energieentwicklungs GmbH" [web08]. Inventor is Mr. Fritz Mondl from Vienna. When there was a building work in Joching between Spitz and Dürnstein on Danube River before Vienna in Wachau region he recognized the stream during rowing and he was watching the buoys in the river. Thinking about the force of river's stream he developed stream buoy together with technical universities [web13].

Another video means that Mr. Mondl was canoeing having had his "brilliant idea" [web14, 0-2min.]. Well it's not important with which sport it is connected. The fact is that it's even an art rowing or canoeing against the river's stream not being driven backwards [web14, 6min.40-60sec.]. This "brilliant idea" of Mr. Mondl is genius. Small but mighty, this is renewable energy at its best - from Austria:

For checks and repairs of the stream buoy a catamaran is used. The buoy is fixed at it's tail with an anchor chain in the river bed - with a pole installed. When the stream is doubling the power producing effect is 8 times as much. The power cable is fixed at the anchor's chain and is placed on the river bed leading to the shore to a transformer station. This cable can also be installed under ground without problems. Little models of power buoys deliver 75 kW per day (about 75 house holds) [web14, 1-5 min.]. Stream buoy is winning energy which needs a canoe or a rowing boat against the stream not being driven backward [web14, 6min.30sec.-7min.15sec.].

For a good use of a stream buoy minimal water depth has to be 2 or 3 meters and there should be a medium stream [web08]. At the same time stream buoys are absolutely saving the environment, they are "soft power plants" [web11].

High water levels: even more electricity production!

During a high water level and floods big power plants have to stop their work or are even damaged. But stream buoy is surviving a deluge without problems just under the water level and all flotsam is passing over it [web08]. During high water levels the streaming is strong and the power production is higher and can even reach the double, for example not 13 kW per day but 30 kW per day [web10]. One stream buoy can produce power for 30 households [web12].

Finding the best places of streamings in the river
Stream buoys are installed aside of the shipping water ways. For finding the best streaming places in a river a special GPS probe was invented being driven through Danube River measuring position and speed at any time [web14, 5-6min.].

No injuries
The rotor of the stream buoy is made in a shape so fishes are not hurt with it when they accidentally are passing the buoy inside [web14, 6min.0-40sec.].

World record during high water level and floods during 2010
Such a stream buoy was installed in Danube River before Vienna in "Wachau" region. During the floods of Danube in 2010 a new world record was reached: <World record for water power in free stream of 3 kW / m2 was exceeded widely reaching 10 kW / m2 rotor surface during a speed of the water of 3 m / s [10.8 km/h].> [web10]

(original in German: <Weltrekord für Wasserkraft in freier Strömung von 3 kW /m² weit überschritten: auf 10 kW /m² Rotorfläche bei 3m/s.> [web10])

500 stream buoys for 35,000 house holds

Data from the video: Video: Strom-Boje® - Bericht für österreichischen Klimaschutzpreis 2010 [web15]:

With 500 stream buoys the whole "Wachau" region could be supplied with power and a complete autarky of electricity for 35,000 households (1min.0-33sec.). Buoys are surviving any flood also when all other water power plants have to stop their work (1min. 35-48sec.). Also a stream of 4 meters per second [14.4 km/h] are no problem (1min.50sec.-2min.12sec.). Buoys are adapting to the water level and are not changing the water level. Fishes and swimmers cannot hurt themselves by the buoy, all this was tested well. Invisibility of buoys is well accepted by the population, and even fishers are content that fishes are not hurt by it (2min.12-51sec.). In 2010 a bigger stream buoy with a higher efficiency was in project yet. The principle is simple: "Install it - anchor it - plug it. And then pure ecologic electricity is working." (2min.51sec.-3min.6sec.).

Forbid spoiling and damaging energies - because costs for damages are not included in the price!!!

One has to see it clearly:

There is no or only little damage with solar energy, wind energy, wave, tide or streaming energy - and one has to consider

-- that the big damage by atomic power is NOT included in the price of electricity (damages by uranium mines, contamination by uranium mines, brute contamination by atomic radiation by accidents, high cancer rates, atomic waste for eternity)
-- that the damage by coal mines is NOT included in the price of electricity (illnesses by dust and ill coal miners)
-- that the damage by brown coal is NOT included in the price of electricity (illnesses by dust, destroyed locations)
-- that the damage by fracking is NOT included in the price of fracked oil and fracked gas (eternal damage with contaminated ground water, contamination of complete rivers and lakes, complete contamination during floods is possible when retention basins are cracking, allergies and illnesses, locations become uninhabitable)
-- that the damage by oil is NOT included (brute environment damages)
-- that the damage of gas explosions is NOT included in the gas price either (exploding pipelines, exploding houses and gas bottles).

This means that clean kinds of energy like solar energy, wind energy, wave energy, tide energy and streaming energy are hardly or not affecting the social care systems, the health care systems and the environment, but other kinds of energy are partly really affecting and even destroying them. Thus the money which is spent for solar power, wind power, wave power, tide power and streaming power is saved at other locations!

This means that any subsidization for solar power, wind power, wave power, tide power and streaming power is RIGHT!!!

Please spread these arguments to the whole world thus there will be an end with the other dirty and radiating kinds of energies, also with the "atomic blinds" like Mr. Cameron, Mr. Hollande, also the government in Argentina, and atomic corrupt Japanese and Russian governments - and of course with the "atomic and fracking blind" government of "U.S.A." (Stupid States) etc.!

Give absolute priority to the clean energies with sun, wind, waves, tides and streams!

Forbid the dirty and radiating kinds of energies! Our planet has to be protected from atomic power, coal, oil and fracking at least!

!!!NO atomic plants - NO coal power - NO oil power - NO fracking!!!

Forbid geothermic drilling - risk cannot be calculated
Geothermic drilling are very very very dangerous, are often provoking earthquakes and can destroy complete locations (see Staufen in southern Germany and Lochwiller in Alsace in France). Geothermic drilling can provoke that the underground water is coming up without control irregularly provoking that plaster is formed provoking a bulging of the ground of whole localities without control irregularly and in this way whole localities can be destroyed (in Staufen there are cracks up to 10cm, in Lochwiller there are many cracks in houses and there are even inclined houses etc.)

Forbid

And there are more accidents with drilling:
